Original location on Winston Street, on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles.

United American Indian Involvement, Inc. was established as a non-profit agency in the Skid Row area of downtown to provide services to one of the most neglected populations in Los Angeles.

Today, UAII has grown to a comprehensive multidisciplinary service center and has expanded its scope of services to meet the growing needs of the urban American Indian.
