An-No-Ven Youth Residential Treatment Center
The Ah-No-Ven Home (meaning "Healing Home" in the Gabrieleno / Tongva tribal language, an indigenous Los Angeles Indian tribe) is a program of the United American Indian Involvement, Inc., a non-profit Indian health care organization. The Ah-No-Ven Home is located in West Covina, California (Los Angeles County) and is a state licensed program through the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division - 197804463.
Mission Statement
The Ah-No-Ven Home places high regard to the cultural, tribal, spiritual and personal values and preferences of its American Indian youth, their families and guardians, constituents and community members. The Ah-No-Ven Home is committed to serving youth with respect, dignity, care and love. The Ah-No-Ven Home is also committed to be the model of quality residential care by reinforcing the strengths of our cultural integrity, out community, and by enhancing the advancement and spiritual enrichment of the American Indian Community, at large.
Treatment Population
The Ah-No-Ven Home is a 6-bed residential treatment program designed to treat American Indian female youth, ages 14-17 years. The Ah-No-Ven Home accepts youth who require short-term to long-term care with substance abuse and primary or secondary mental health diagnosis. The program accepts youth who are dependants of the state (WIC 300) and private placements.
Program Services
The basis of everyday functioning within the program is a full schedule of educational, therapeutic, self-care, cognitive, physical, social, spiritual, and creative activities. The Ah-No-Ven Home provides services through trained and experienced licensed mental health professionals, certified chemical dependency counselors, and residential assistant staff.

A feature within the structure is a program of various approaches that are individualized to meet the specific psychological and personal needs of each youth, promote insight in family relationships, when possible, and provide meaningful relationships with significant adults.
